I visited a few weeks ago in a bit of a panic after dropping a cup of tea over my MacBook! Paul was clearly very busy but still took the time to talk to me, look at my laptop, and retrieve the hardrive which I desperately needed for work. … More He then leant me a piece of kit (trusting me to take it home and bring it back when finished) that allowed me to get all of the info off my old hardrive and on to a new one and didn’t charge me a penny. I ordered an HP Workstation from him on ebay. Paid 260 for the PC and 25 DPD on 27th October 2023. Despite saying he would send it on 31st October 2023 he did not send it. I requested a refund and instead of just agreeing he is making me … More wait nearly two weeks to get a refund. So I checked him out. He is a scammer. He has a limited company but has not filed a confirmation statement. He is running two shops and made nearly two hundred sales on ebay many of which have resulted in complaints. But he is not registered for VAT. He could get shut down at anytime so buying anything from him is a risk. He lies about posting goods. He will not agree refunds.
MY ADVICE: DO NOT TRUST HIM: SCAMMER. -

Would never use this company, totally useless. Took my laptop in as the screen would not work. They repaired it, it lasted for 24 hours and then the problem resumed. Took it back in on Friday 8th Sept, they kept saying they would phone … More me when it was ready which they didn't, I went up to the shop on Saturday and it was closed. In the end they told me they could not fix it, I picked it up on Tuesday 19th. I then took it to a different repair shop, they told me that IFixTech had damaged the circuit board and had also left some of the screws out of the back. New repair guy fixed laptop in a couple of hours and is now working a treat. It was the Wallisdown IFix I used and I would advise people not to use it..

Macbook Burning Smell
Burning smells usually come from power failures and burnt components.
Macbook Not turning on
When your MacBook does not turn this could be a faulty charger or the power circuits have failed on your logic board (or usually a combination of both!)
Macbook Screen not displaying anything
When your Macbook turns on but the screen is blank then this could be down to the graphics chip on the logic board or the screen is faulty.
Macbook shows a Question Mark when turning on
This usually means your hard disk drive has failed or MacOS is corrupted. This is a great time for an SSD upgrade which will give your Mac a massive speed boost as part of the repair!
